Kali Calgary
Kali Calgary, Arnis Calgary, Arnis De Cadena… we go by a couple of different names, but our purpose is Filipino Martial Arts. Don’t fuss over the name, what matters is the effectiveness of the art.
Arnis De Cadena is a melting pot of some of the finest Filipino Martial Arts available. Based on the principles of Mati Arnis as taught by Guro Joel Huncar. Guro Jon Henn has continued the Calgary school tradition.
Guro Jon has continued his training past Mati Arnis and continues to engage with FMA instructors in the Calgary area. With training in Kali Ilustrisimo from the Red Deer’s Kali Academy of Martial Arts and advanced understanding of Balintawak Eskrima from Cranbrook’s Rocky Mountain Martial Arts Family Centre.
De Campo
The De Campo 1-2-3 Original program, developed by Grandmaster Jose D. Caballero, focusing on largo range of striking. De Campo 1-2-3 Original has added to my own understanding of Filipino Martial Arts and changed the way I move. With renewed passion for Martial Arts through De Campo 1-2-3.
